At Van Wert Middle School, we have been team teaching for over 12 years. I don’t know how I taught 7th- grade math “by myself” for all those previous years. We are an Ohio and National School to Watch. We were awarded the top middle school in our state by the SREB. (Southern Region Education Board) in 2013. Teaming allows us to build relationships with kids….THAT is the answer to success in teaching! I love my job, am an accomplished teacher on the OTES teacher evaluation in our state, and will retire this year with 37 years in education….then, my idea of a good time…..subbing, of course!
